It is now, or close enough to now that the difference doesn't matter.
STATIC is a standalone d20 tabletop roleplaying game about resisting a country that runs on three quiet machines: the Lattice (a social-scoring surveillance grid), the Signal Trust (the feed that decides what's Verified), and the Coherence Office (the people who enforce agreement itself). You play the static in their signal — small cells of ordinary, dangerous people the algorithms can't quite filter out.
Grounded political thriller with pulp in its veins: Children of Men crossed with Mr. Robot, with a V for Vendetta pulse underneath.

3. Go deeper
When your table wants more: the Player's Companion (origins, archetypes, feats, vehicles and safehouse upgrades), the GM's Companion (Node-level play, faction politics and campaign tools), the Bestiary, the two-year campaign The Long Static, five standalone operations in Short Waves, and the AI-threat expansion The Actuary.
4. Join the signal
The community boards are open — rules questions, session reports, homebrew, and finding a table. And the newsletter (footer, below) gets playtest notes and release drops before the Feed does.
